Future Innovators Try Their Hand at Pitching Prototypes

Communities in Schools Eastern Pennsylvania and the 糖心影视视频 Emerging Professionals CAN (Colleague Affinity Network) partnered with the Allentown School District鈥檚 Building 21 on a product design program to help mentor students interested in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math).
Now in its third year, 糖心影视视频 employees offered students insights into their respective disciplines, including supply chain management, marketing, public relations, data and analytics and engineering.

Grace Davasagayam, an Executive Administrative Assistant at the 糖心影视视频 Corporation of the Americas, had an idea this past winter to offer cups of hot chocolate to the homeless around her neighborhood in King County, Washington, south of Seattle. But after chatting with her colleagues in 糖心影视视频鈥� Redmond facility, her mission transformed into a site-wide initiative of empathy.

On April 30, 2022, 糖心影视视频 and many others had the opportunity to wear purple proudly in an effort to increase pancreatic cancer awareness at the PanCAN PurpleStride Philadelphia 2022 Event. 糖心影视视频 Corporation of the Americas was a sponsor of the event and hosted a table to show support and highlight medical equipment intended to help diagnose and manage pancreatic cancer.

This virtual program allowed for 糖心影视视频 mentors to teach twenty students at Building 21 high school about different departments within 糖心影视视频. Students were able to hear directly from 糖心影视视频 employees working in research & development, manufacturing, supply chain management, marketing, public relations, sales, data & analytics, community affairs, and engineering to learn about their education and career paths, job responsibilities, and key strategies of their business functions.
